Pregnancy Care

Pregnancy Care

When you first discover that you are pregnant, please make a routine appointment with one of the doctors. They will ask some questions, check your weight and blood pressure, and give you a prescription exemption form. They will then refer you to our midwife, Maureen Briggs. Maureen will usually contact you when you are about 7 weeks pregnant, to arrange a date for a “booking appointment” at which your paperwork will be completed. She will usually arrange to see you in your own home for this initial visit. After this, your antenatal appointments will be at the medical centre.

If you are pregnant, you can contact Maureen on 07714 064 389 at any time if you have any questions or concerns.
